| Rotaract is an international organisation for adults 18 and 30 who want to make a difference. Rotaract offers social, community, charitable and personal development activities. It was founded in 1968 by Rotary International, an association of clubs made up of service-minded business and professional leaders. Today there are more than 7,600 Rotary club sponsored Rotaract clubs with some 170,000 members – known as Rotaractors – in over 158 countries. Clubs are either based in the community or in a university. Rotaract clubs enable Rotaractors to grow personally and professionally, address community needs and promote international understanding through friendship and service. The Rotary Club of Cork is looking to establish a Rotaract club in the community and is looking for active members that will assist us in getting this club started. Other Rotaract clubs exist in Dublin and Galway, so we can immediately tap into existing projects and tried and tested activities. Check out their activities on www.rotaract.ie . Interested? Contact us today. Follow our activities on Facebook and join the group Cork Rotaract. Rotaract clubs hold meetings, usually every 2 weeks,
which feature speakers, discussions and visits to other clubs. Rotaract is an opportunity to Why join Rotaract? So what are you waiting for? Contact An Coppens – Youth officer in Cork Rotary Club today – e-mail: an.coppens@brightbusinesscoaching.com www.rotaract.org www.corkrotary.ie
