Interact Cork

Interact is an international organisation for young people between 14 and 18 who want to make a difference. Interact offers social, community, charitable and personal development activities usually based in one school or as a joint group between a number of schools and local youth organisations.

Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of

• Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
• Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
• Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
• Advancing international understanding and goodwill

As one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and geographical areas, Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon. Almost 200,000 young people are involved in Interact.

The Rotary Club of Cork is looking to establish an Interact club in the Cork City Centre and immediate surrounding areas and is looking for active members that will assist us in getting this club started. Would your school, class or youth organisation be interested? Contact us today.

Interact is a self-governing and self-supporting club even though the Rotary Club of Cork will be your sponsor and will provide guidance, you still choose your projects and activities as members.
